Connie Murphy Acts 21:5 October 18, 2012
For Jewel and Ashley's family and friend's who lived too far away to attend Ashley and Evelyn's beautiful memorial service, I wanted to give you and image from the scriptures, to keep in your hearts forever....
   Paul's journeys....Acts 21:5
"When it was time to leave, we left and continued on our way. All of them, including wives and children, accompanied us out of the city, and there on the beach we knelt to pray."
There we all were, in a church which Ashley grew up in, just a short walk,  minutes away , to the sandy cliffs , the quiet harbor below, and the Pacific ocean beyond,  stretching into the mist.
And All of you, near and far, were with us too!
...because we know,
"for where two or more are gathered, there am I in the midst of them!
Alisha Washington Comfort September 23, 2012

I just wanted to leave my condolences and a comforting scripture. John 5:28 reads- 'Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." This speaks of a resurrection of our dead loved ones. I know you don't know me but you and the family will be in my prayers.

It was not God's purpose for mankind to suffer and die the way we do today. When you get a chance visit http://www.jw.org/en/bible-teachings/questions/our-suffering/. This site brought me comfort during my hard time.

Benjamin Boaz Blessed Assurance of Glory Divine. September 8, 2012
Some people say that the stories of old are good for comfort in calamidy. Some say that they are good messages of hope but they couldn't really be true. We know that they are more than that however, because the message they carry still happens to be true today. What is this, you say?

Well, on August 29, 2012, a dear saint of God, wife and mother of two was carried away in a charriot to be with her Heavenly Father. Although she will be missed here on Earth, she will be forever in His presence, waiting for her family to meet her there. Whether it be short or long in Earth's timeline, that they will meet we are sure. Just as it has always been, and so forever it always will be.

Dear Jewel,

I have never met you but read about this tragic loss through a mutual friend today on Facebook.  I am your sister in Christ. I do share in the great hope that will not disappoint. Yet, I cannot even begin to understand this on this side of eternity.  I cannot wait for the day when you will be reunited with your beautiful wife and newest daughter in eternity....It will be a great day and it will happen.  Jesus has done it.  He has finished the work.  Until that day.......You have 2 gorgeous daughters and a new church family to love and to lead.  You will be in prayers.  I hope to watch as you are all reunited in the pressece of perfect love and redempption with Jesus, your champion and mine too.

Dave and Sonya Thayer Praying for your family September 7, 2012
Your family has been in our prayers and thoughts ever since we heard about your losses.  We have heard so many good things about Ashley and Jewel and their beautiful little girls for the past few years from our daughters Kelly and Angie.  They were sad when the Greywoodes moved away from Philadelphia, but glad they moved to MN since the possibility to see each other was likely since we live in South Dakota.  Ashley was the kind of friend you want your daughters to have when they live so far away from you.  We share your grief.
Heather Cowen-Ferenc fond memories September 7, 2012
Dear Greywoode and Foss Families,
I wish I could be there today in person to celebrate the wonderful life and spirit of Ashley. She truly was such a steadfast, caring, considerate friend. I will always hold precious memories of being in the same small group, Acapella choir, summers spent at Hume Lake and Calvary church life dear. Whenever there was friend drama Ashley always took the high road in the most humble manner and was truly a friend to all. Her smile could always light up a room. We had many laughs together sporting side pony tails and overalls all the while. My heart and soul is deeply saddened for her husband and precious daughters. If nothing else this tragedy has shown us all to truly cherish every moment with our loved ones and hold dear to these times because life is in our Beholders hands and we are earthly beings. I am taking comfort in the fact that Ashley is resting peacefully with our Savior and smiling her big, bright, gorgeous smile. We love you and are there in spirit with you.
